Part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Marine-i is a £9.3m collaboration between the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, The Cornwall College Group, Cornwall Marine Network, Cornwall Development Company and the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult.

Marine-i brings together key infrastructure and expertise to enable technology innovation in the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly’s marine sector, which has been identified as an area of high growth potential by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership.

Brand Innovation’s role spans marketing, communications, online content and PR. The objective is to encourage local marine technology businesses to engage with the Marine-i project, while also bringing the team’s pioneering work to the attention of opinion-leaders in the marine industry locally, nationally and internationally.

Lynn File quickly grasped the challenge of communicating our unique proposition to our target groups. She developed an incisive marketing strategy and has helped Marine-i establish a high profile within a short period of time.

Lynn has the rare knack of knowing how to write content that really engages businesses. She has written all the content for our website and other marketing, including articles, case studies and press releases and the quality is always excellent.

The PR campaign has generated outstanding coverage, both nationally and internationally, with coverage in industry leading media in the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia.  Lynn has exceptional energy and creativity and has established herself as an integral member of the Marine-i team.
